MA Reflective leadership and management. This new programme is the College’s response to demand for advanced study and support for leaders and managers who operate in a range of contexts but are connected by their desire to enhance a value-led and people-centred orientation to their work. This dynamic and well supported programme offers the College’s 40 year history of developing and training practitioners together with the opportunity to join a new community of practice that will enhance your leadership and management life. Available as a part-time taught programme from October 2014 and as blended learning from September 2015.
Post Graduate Diploma / MA Youth Work and Community Learning and Development (Qualifying and Professional Development Routes). This exciting advanced programme of study responds to the demands of the field and our undergraduate alumni to produce an enhanced current and critical exploration of youth work and community learning and development practice. There are two programmes on offer. One is a professional development route normally for those who are already professionally qualified as youth and community workers and wish to enhance their knowledge and practice base to postgraduate level. The other is a qualifying route which offers professional qualification for those who already have a first degree and wish to study at postgraduate rather than undergraduate level. Both programmes lead to a Canterbury Christ Church University award. The qualifying programme leads to full dual professional qualification (JNC recognition) in youth work (validated by the National Youth Agency) and community learning and development (validated by Community Learning and Development Scotland). Available as a part-time taught programme and as blended learning from October 2014.
