Global youth work. This short course is available by distance learning and gives 20 higher education level 5 credits. Developed in partnership with YCare International – this course is designed to take youth and community practitioners on a journey. Firstly by learning about global issues and globalisation, then by helping you to see the impact of these issues on your own local communities and the young people you work with. Finally by opening up debates about global youth work, helping you to question Global Youth Work’s practice and principles and to critically reflect on its benefits and outcomes for young people. Starts Easter 2015
